DeFluo, a novel water purification media designated to remove fluoride, is made from millions of micrometer inorganic powders with large specific surface and porosity. Nano inorganic CaFeAl complex-polymer formed on DeFluo's surface and innumerous porosity have a very strong absorbability and chelating effect on fluoride. When water flow through DeFluo, fluoride ion in water can be adsorbed and chelated. The concentration of fluoride ion in outlet water can be decreased effectively.
